Oracle Applications 11i is the Oracle's ERP offering competing with amongst others SAP. Also know as "Apps", "11i", "E-Business Suite" it includes well known products like Financials, HR, Payroll, CRM. It is built using the standard Oracle technology stack (RDBMS, Forms, Reports, Java, Apache). There are 3 distinct skill areas that need to be addressed when working with this suite.

- Administration - maintaining the Apps instances, akin to a traditional Oracle DBA but covering all aspects the the Apps techniology stack.
